We never met
I only know your mother
And that only from reading her writing
About your untimely death
But please listen to me
She needs you, Cassondra
She misses you so terribly
I feel the pain through her writing
I cry with her, for her, for you
And I cannot help her
Only you can help her

Every word she writes is about you
It has been half a year now
And she is still grieving so
Please - can you help her?
Come to her in her dreams
Hold her hand, touch her hair
Kiss her lips, ease her pain
Because I wish I could
But I'm not you

I've spent the afternoon reading

I know what she is saying
